Katie Lorenzoni is a proud native of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and a graduate of Iron Mountain High School. After marrying a US Air Force veteran and starting a family, she pursued her passion for early childhood education and earned a degree from American Military University. Upon returning to Michigan to raise their family, The Lorenzoni's took the opportunity to turn her dreams into reality and purchased Great Beginnings in 2016. As a dedicated and experienced child care educator, Katie is committed to providing the highest quality care and education for children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, kayaking & camping!

Rebecca Graduated from Niagara High School and went on to attend Northern Michigan University where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in English Writing and Psychology. She also has a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University. Rebecca lives in Norway Mi and loves reading, spending time with her pets and attending Broadway Across America Musicals. Rebecca oversees the daily operations and administration of the center.

Amanda, known affectionately by many of the kids as "Mama Manda," is 35 years old. Originally from California, she moved to the Upper Peninsula at the age of 16. She has two wonderful children—an 11-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter. Amanda loves spending time with her family and traveling. She strongly believes in treating others the way she would like to be treated. Working at the preschool brings her immense joy, and her days are always brightened by the smiling and laughing faces of the children in her care.

Tailor grew up and attended school in Niagara, Wisconsin. During her freshman year of high school, she worked at the school’s daycare, and that’s where her passion for working with kids truly began. She has always had a love for watching children grow and develop their unique personalities. Tailor also enjoys spending time with family and friends and is constantly striving to be the best version of herself, aiming to be an inspiring role model for all the day care kids.
